Cam sensor voltage

Today I checked the setting on my Cam sensor and noticed I only had 5 volts to the sensor. If I am correct their should be 7 volts. Do I have a problem somewhare or is this ok.

87 gn 62,000 miles bone stock.

you should have 12 volts between A and C (possibly a bit less) and around 4-6 volts between B and C. That's assuming the window of the interruptor is closed within the cam sensor. If you remove the sensor cap from the drive, your voltage on B will be very close to zero volts.
