Which direction does the cam sensor turn in a turbo motor? Is it counterclockwise?

It turns clockwise. I verified this a few days ago when trying to prime the oiling system.

thanks so much, i love having these forums at my finger tips, now can i vary spark timing by adjusting the cam sensor???

Spark timing is controlled by the chip, cam sensor I believe is just for injector phasing.

The cam sensor starts the sequence for the ignition system and injectors. It does not control timing.
