I am getting a motor rebuilt and was wondering what cam I should go with for a TE-44, 3 inch DP and dual exhaust, wiseco pistons, and stock or maybe mildly ported heads.

This will be a street car.

Thanks,
Joe

cant go wrong with the 204/214 cam

I have them they just arent on my site yet

they idle smooth when warm if tuned right and I've gotten up to 27 mpg in my ttype when I had that combo

How much do you think I will get with the three speed I will be running for a while?

Joe

204-214?

Hey Red,
What is the lift w/stock rockers on your cam? How about the price w/lifters? Would this be good with my stock short block and Champion Irons?

194/204 = .411 / .434 lift with stock rockers
204/214 = .434 / .457 lift
214/224 = .457 / .480 lift
224/224 = .480 / .480 lift
234/244 = .504 / .527 lift

heres a few I have to offer in flat tappet hydrolic

I have cam and lifter combo's and have matching springs to go with them

I dont think they like prices listed on here so email me

Red@evtbs.com for prices

beware most all cams for buick motors for some reason are usually rated with 1.6 rockers for some reason
all the above lifts are with stock rockers

Are you going to be a Advertiser on TB.COM soon:confused:

I just do not want to take sales away from the supporting vendors:(

I would not use a flat tappet if you gave it to me free. I have wiped several of them destroying the motor. I am sure red can set yo up with a 210/210 billet roller
