camaro brakes-wheel offset?

If I swap my front brakes over to a 2000 camaro setup. will this mess up my offset on the wheels? I just bought wheels and am thinking about buying a 2000 camaro with a bad motor for parts. Just exploring options on what parts I can use.

it will stick the wheel out about 3/8". For most it won't make a difference, but for me, when i lowered the car i had quite a bit of tire scrub and had to go with the narrower 17x7s
