Cam a cam be changed in 89' TTA without pulling the motor? What needs to be done? Any help is greatly appreciated. Jonathan 505-980-7226

Yes you can replace the camshaft without removing the engine from the car. You will need to remove the radiator, but the condenser can be left in (this will save you about a million bucks in freon 12)we changed mine in about 5 hours. Do your self a favor and raise the whole car to a comfortible working height before you start. These cars are so low it will get to your back if you do it at the "curb height". Not really a bad job! Good luck, Turbota.
