We are about to find out.......hehe
Jack (F ing A Cotton!) just sent me a new 66BB turbo with the F1/S-trim combo and a .85 housing. This is replacing a 70BB P-trim .85 that I destroyed with an exhaust gasket.
Which one will make more power? I ran 133mph with the 70 at 24psi and the old 9/11 lockup converter setup. Now there is a PTC 9.5 N/L there.
Combo is:
249ci forged stroker
210/215 roller, ME-R w w/wideband
home ported irons/intake
3" single shot, 27/25 deg timing (or 29/23 depending which chip)
dual nozzle Razor alky
Powerstroke FMIC
single 340 Walbro, 75lb inj.

No can do.....after I locked the converter, broke the forward drum. Sold the tranny. Was blowing through the converter really bad. Got a Lonnie Diers Stage 2 and the PTC. A little apples to oranges perhaps, but it is going to gte punished the 6/7 of September.....

Keep us posted.I'm looking into both of those turbo's. Not sure which one to go with. the 66BB or the 70BB???
