I know they are designed to hold the line pressure for the front brakes but if you do NOT have the brake pedal depressed and you turn on the line lock...will it keep the front brakes from clamping down?

The end result being only the rear brakes would work.

Just curious.

Why would you want the rears only to work?? If you are at the lights if the fronts are working too you won't push through the lights as easily and the rear brakes will still working anyway.

so when you are out screwing around you can have only rear brakes and make a lot of noise when you stop :-)

Yep. We used a line lock plumbed backwards on the outside front wheel of Modified stock cars. Engage the line lock and the car had 3 wheel disc brakes.

The line lock I'm using will not. Found out when I tried to test the rear brakes, it only holds pressure from coming back, not going to the calipers. Not sure on what brand I have, could be a difference there.
