I've got the opportunity to ditch the hard top project in the garage and switch over to a t-top. The ultimate goal of this project is a daily driver that can turn 10's in race trim. Can a t-tops car turn 10's without breaking things? What additional braces are needed? Would a roll cage do the trick?

TIA

Keith

Good Deal

Thanks... I had thought i'd read a post about t-tops being a "no-no" guess not... come to think of it, it may have been for kirban's GNX rear suspension install. Thanks again

Cage

Luckly the T-Top cars are considerd as a hard top car.. Just don't make a convertable out of it :) A 10pt cage will be certfiable to 7.50ET ~Scott

Pete Bernard had one flapopen on his 8 second ride. I don't know what he did after it , but he still has the t-top roof on. That musta been 1 scary ride!!!

Dunno if I would feel comfortable with t-tops on an 8 second ride, but on a 10 second car it's no problem.
