I have a custom stock intercooler on my hot air right now. Would I be able to get the same performance out of my car without that intercooler, with using alcohol? It seems like I could I would just have to turn the alcohol on sooner, right? Could I still get the same boost levels without the intercooler and with the alcohol?
This way I would be a hot air car with a bigger intake, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, and alcohol injection right before the throttle body.........my throttle body is presurized as the stock hot air intake doesnt allow for that. Could I hit my goal of mid 12's with good 60' times and a good tune with my combo less the intercooler add the alky? I think I may have asked the same question more then once in a different way each time.......oh well. :)

TIA, Nick.

Tho I have seen setups on Buicks using no IC, and alky. I have never had the chance to play with the idea. Will it work.. sure.. How well??? Man thats a loaded question.

I've done plenty of supercharged cars using centrifugals.. and they run no IC.. and have had tremendous results. Tho what your asking.. it may run better with the IC you currently have + alky.

Sorry I cannot provide a direct answer to your question, all I can do is offer the best i've been able to research, and personal experience.

Thanks much for the reply Razor, I dont think anyone knows what to say to this.........most guys are saying that it would be better with the intercooler + alky. So I will probably get her running good with the intercooler and tinker with alky on it.

Nick
