I am going to install a Powerstroke FM and am curious if anyone that has done this could tell me the part numbers for the tubing i will need?

thanks,
Joshua

I don't think there are any part numbers. It all has to be fabricated, just like the I/C install its self. You'll have to hack up the front of your car to do it and fabricate the tubing as best you can.

We have 3" polished aluminum 90* bends for $22.99 each picture in our web store. Looks like 4 of those and a straight will do it. Plus some hoses.

Anyone know "which" powerstroke IC I need to get. Every time I call around the first question I get askes is does the truck have a catalytic converter or not.

Apparantley there are two different intercoolers. Which do I look for?

Thanks

still would like to know if the parts from the full throttle page will work.

Thanks,

Joshua,

It's a hit or miss thing when you are trying to custom install something. You'll just have to buy the pipe and try to make it work. Sometimes it can be a waste of money and sometimes you can get everything thats needed to fit perfect. That's the bad thing about customizing something.

cool, thanks for the response. I just like the quality of the tubing that they carry but think i would be better off using the part numbers from the above posts just to be on the safe side because as you said it is hit or miss, i just think that it would look really good using the tubing from full throttle.

Thanks again,
Joshua

I'm just about finished with this install and you are going to need 2 short radius 90's on the turdo side and 2 long radius 90's on the tb side.

ells

I ordered the ells for Big Daddy's install. Here are the sizes.
2 each--3 in.-- 4 1/2 in radius ells
2 each--3 in.--7 1/2 in. radius ells
1 ft. of 3 in. tubing is more then enough.
If yours has aluminum end tanks you will need 3.5 in clamps there.
The 3 in. connectors will go over the intercooler ends but the 3 or 3.25 clamps is not big enough.
