Ya know, it's funny....
Most people don't realize that the stock trans harness is already setup for a non computer lockup. Many go out and purchase the Painless Wiring or other harness lockup.
Well the truth is, really all you have to do is hook a single switchable hot wire to the appropriate terminal and you're ready to roll.
However, if your picky like myself, you'll add on a vaccuum switch and brake pedal switch to break contact. On the other hand, I know a few guys that run just a toggle switch. To each his own.
I tried to attach a sketch of my CZ trans harness. Normally this works, not this time.... Anyway about the only deviation from stock is the removal of the temperature switch. Other than that, pretty much as GM intended. I did route the hotwire through a brake switch and an 1980 Chevy Pickup vaccuum switch. The power is linked to an "ignition on" lead. This lead can come from a variety of sources. Just poke around with a multi-meter until you find one that is hot and branch off.
