Mechanicaly inclined to do so but have never tried ,just wonder ho hard it is ,and will the vendors sell me new bearings/seals.

I think you can do it except you have to get it balenced or it will tear up the housing or the blades

get the rebuild kit center section and call someone local may be with disels that can balence it :confused: :confused:
 
Assuming I only need to take off 1 compressor wheel,if I take it off and take note of where it was why would I need to have it rebalanced,unballanced bearings should have no effect on this...

your right if the blades are messed up but i guess if you had issues with leaking then you would have to get things balenced ....But i wonder when that turbo was built if the wheels where balenced to that particullar center section (bearings )
