Will it flow enough to do this? I just want a high ten. It seems like I run more boost than most people need to with ported heads and stuff. Thanks for the help!
 
you need 2-5 more mph and much better 60' times.....at sub 124 speeds, 1.4x 60' times are required

if I were you, I'd trade that '62 for a 45A and solve the problem (plus your boost levels will go sub 25 for the same power....)

Keith Egan was blasting off 10>? at 41 this weekend w/ a pt54. Isnt that equivilent to a 62 or 63. And won tsm for the day. But thats (i think) a transbreak launch)

Hey sam. Did you take that pinion snubber off. Is your front sway bar still on? Get the 60 fts down and you will be on the edge of 10's
 
you are right.....lose the pinion snubber and front sway bar..get some 90/10 front shocks and a trans brake and launch at 15+ lbs of boost and your 60's will get better (assuming you hook....slicks required)

ASSuming you have basic suspension mods like boxed lowers, big sway bar (or at least air bags) new bushings, shocks, springs & braces?

BTW, when your 60's get into the low 1.5x range, your speed in the 1/4 will go down.......unless you increase HP
 
I ran a 11.38 at 121 mph this past weekend with the TA-62 turbo and 20 row IC, 50 inj, stock unported heads (valve spring upgrade) this was with 25 lbs of boost. I also threw in a small shot of nitrous and it went 11.12 at 124 mph.:cool:
 
The front sway bar is gone, I have airbags, 90/10's, 50/50's, slicks, and stock control arms and sway bar in the rear. I hope to be getting some lca's soon. Got motor and tranny work to do now. I still have that damn snubber. Do I need to put the stock one back on? I think I lost it. Can I go without? Plan to go bigger injectors, too.
 
Well....

I'm always a day late and a dollar short...can you bring me up to speed on the pinion snubber. I thought the larger snubber was supposed to help...:confused:

i just went 11.92 this weekend havent up dated my sig ,but your numbers seem way off to me my car could go 11.70 when it cool down easy better work on your tune how much boost are you runnin and hard can you leave my 60 ft 1.8 so i still could do better i just change to john ta61 today and lookin to go were you are with a stock long block. i believe with your combo high 10 are their just have to find the right tune for it.:D
