Car is a 86 T type. Partially disassembled when i got it. Im going back together now and haven't figured out where these two brackets go. Help is GREATLY appreciated.

David

The one on top is the intercooler bracket on drivers side, not sure on the other.

David,
Top pic = drivers side intercooler bracket

Bottom pic = looks like the lower backside alternator to header bracket

Correction:

I believe the second one is back side of compressor to header. First one is indeed the intercooler bracket. Don't you just love playing "Guess That Part?"

Thanks Guys, This is the first one of these i've fooled with and it being part of the way apart when i got it doesnt help.

The intercooler bracket spans between the lower (pivot) bolt for the alternator (stud bolt about 6" long with a 15mm head, and a 8mmx1.25 threaded stud sticking out of it) and the lowest timing cover stud. The stud has a 5/15-18 thread (block end) and a 8mmx1.25 stud. (13mm nut)

The small bracket goes on the lower AC compressor bolt. The bolt slides through the slotted end, through the aluminum bracket then through the AC compressor with a nut on the front side of the compressor. The open end of the bracket goes to the lower forward exhaust header stud, and uses a 13mm (wrench size) flange nut.

Figured I would be real specific seeing how you are new to the game, and things get a bit tight in the front of these cars.
