Can you rebalance a external balancer to work with in internal crank?

Yes a machinist can. I didnt do it on my build though, spent a little bit of extra money and got a decent internal balancer...

It would likely cost a lot more to do it than replacing it and selling the external balancer. Its totally not worth it if you are considering putting a bunch of $ into a stock balancer since it wont meet an SFI spec when done.

Thats very reasonable but you still have a stock non sfi balancer when done.
