Can't get front seal out!! HELP PLEASE

Well, that says it all... I can't get the front seal out. I am trying to put in a d-5 to replace the low stalling pos in there now, and was under the impression that you should change the front seal as well. Now I've got it messud up, and can't reuse it, and NEED to get it out... without ruining anything. Is there a special tool for this?? I thought it should pull right out.

Gently collapse it by tapping the outer flange with a flat blade screwdriver. Go easy so you don't gouge the pump housing.

Thanks MeanBuicks!! The old seal is out, new one in, and just awaiting trans install into car... maybe later this week if time permits.
