Hey guys, took apart my hotair and changed the cam, turbo, intake, heads, etc. Now I cant get my car to spark.

Ive changed the spark module, crank sensor, checked all the fuses, but nothing. Anyone got any idea what else could be making this thing not have any spark.

My cam sensor has been set as well, but still nothing.

Im going to try and get a new ignition module, and see if thats the problem and cross my fingers.

Check your power and ground to your ecm and coil module. If you going to replace your coil module get a 87 module and coil pack. You can switch the wires in your connector to work with the 87. I suggest replacing the pins in the connector. I did this about 2 weeks ago. Also there is a resistor wire powing the coil through the module. That needs to be taking out of there. Put a normal 14 or 16 gauge wire in its place. It comes from the drivers side bulkhead and goes to the module. Its two pink w/ black wires that run into one wire. That fixed a mysterious miss under load for me.

No spark

You could be 180 degrees out of time , first try to reclock you cam sensor
Good luck

No spark

I can almost guarantee the crank sensor was installed incorrectly. I.E. the sensor is not positioned so that the crank sensor ring is going thru the right slot on the sensor. Readjust the sensor to the right slot and it should start.
