Nope. The boost gauge and vss wires wouldn't let the cluster out. They're bound behind some stuff. It sucked bad.

Usually I unplug the VSS (little light green box) down behind the radio pod and pull it up through the dash opening little easier that way.....I guess I could have mentioned that before...
Time to graduate into installing an aftermarket dash that's real fun.....

I was putting this cluster in and found this. What does it go to? All my stuff lights up.

Ok. One of two of the many holes on that side were bigger than I originally seen. I'm guessing it's for the check engine light.

That is the "check engine light". It twist into the back of the cluster just line it up with the overlay that says "check engine"

Next question. The little plug that plugs in right next to the speedo cable. The one that gets held in with a screw. What does that do? When I plug it in it just sits there. There's nothing for it to "plug" into. Plus, even with the screw snugged all the way in, it's still loose. Anyone know what that's for? It's been a while since I've screwed with this thing.

that is a photosensor. It picks up pulses from the speedometer and sends it to the vehicle speed sensor that is located in back of the radio. Make sure the screw is tight as you can get it.

As long as it doesn't fall out it should be okay. Put a little bit of Loctite sealer on the screw
