Few ?? I took my car out a few weeks ago and this is what it does. At 45mph the trans don't really doesn't know what to go into od or stay where its at.

I get a studer like a small bucking. It has alway's done it i really just live with it. Under WOT its fine no problems.

Its got a orange strip 3k stall T/C. While driving and getting up to 45mph it shifts and then a few seconds later goes into O/D is that normal? Maybe at 47 to 50 mph goes into o/d. The trans has about 5k miles. Only to the track a few times.

Thanks Sean

Perhaps you are confusing torque converter clutch (TCC) lock-up with O/D?

If you're having difficulty telling, temporaily disconnect the electrical connector from the side of the transmission to prevent TCC lock-up and test drive. If the condition you described goes away, it's the TCC system that needs attention. If the problem is still there, it's a transmission shifting issue.

i had the same thing happen on two different cars 1st car it turned out to be a dead spot in the tps switch ,changed it and it cleared up...then on my friends car it ended up being the tcc switch in the tranny pan .. both acted the same;)
