hey yall, we are having some issues regarding our 87 GN.. everytime we apply on the brakes the car seems to die, it does not do it all the time, but most of the time of the time it does... we recently drop in the motor, due to blow headgasket.. we change the original stall to a 3200 orange strip stall, a 206/206 cam(flat tapped). and thats about it,, we adjusted the balancer to 25 digress ADTC,and set the cam sensor at 3pm clock.. turned right on after numerous problem solving and trouble shooting. However, let me inform yall, we did break the vacuum plastic suction piece that goes on the driver side in one of the vacuum lines, we replaced it with a auto zone one,but it is a smaller version than stock,(very small).. do you think this is causing it? thanks

Does it stall while just idling in park when you hit the brakes or is it when ya lift on the gas as you come to a stop?

The part you mention - sounds like the 1 way valve to trap vacuum in the brake booster for a car that has been changed to vacuum brakes - do not know why that would kill it unless there was some huge vacuum leak

Sounds llike it could be the alternator not charging the battery. If you know you have a good alt check th wire and the dash light.
