New knock sensor, what torque spec did you use when installing it? When the fuel pump was replaced did you drain out all the old gas from the tank and put fresh gas in?

Fix the header and replace the valve springs. Wouldn't hurt to take a look at the ECM to see what condition it's in.

You wanted answers and you are getting them, everyone here is trying to help you and won't steer you wrong but it's up to you to follow their advise.

The car has been neglected for a long time from what you said, may have been sitting in a barn since 2001, never know maybe rats found some wires to chew on. It's going to need a lot of attention and some new parts/reconditioned ones. I wouldn't drive it until everything is sorted out and running 100%.

Having a header leak before the turbo is like the wastegate being very slightly open causing a slow spool up also . 1st thing to do in my book and then start sorting out the problems one at a time and get some engine scan tools also .

Air filter is a new K&N
The tank was drained and fresh gas was put in.
As of now he's going to repair the header, although it's a issue idk if it would make the car slow on boost,
It boosts to 14lbs but is so lazy getting there.

I think the scan master shows everything within range but the scan master is slow to react to the 02
So it's a process one thing at a time .

What do you think powers the turbo? How fast can you fill up a bucket if your garden hose has a big ass slit in it?

Do a search for ''cracked header'' and look how many hundreds of times it comes up killing spool and boost.
