Car fires up then shuts off

Well im having a new problem i was taking my car to my gmas to put it away on my way there me and my dad were messing around he was in my truck and getting on it next to me so i give it some and as soon as i get to a stop it shuts off on me so luckly i had a tow strap in the truck and we were just down the road from my gmas so we took it over there were its been sitting for a month or so in the garage.

I finnally got over there today to cheak it out and alls it does is fire up real high and shuts off, i have no idea what it could be, any one know?

I bet on fuel, however, it could be ignition (could be battery cable shorting to ground).

Imma check the fuel pressure it has a brand new pump in it that cant be no more than a few months old.

Check your intercooler hoses, you may have blew one off.

I hope thats all it is.

No antitheft and im going to head over there here today to check the fuel pressure.

Sounds like that. Like a massive post MAF airleak.

Check all the hoses from the MAF to the throttle body.

finnally got over there to look at it and all hoses are fine nothing blown off.

could the throttle be stuck wide open as thats what i was doing when it started to mess up maybe something broke and its stuck wide open, thats one thing im kinda thinking as its all stock on none of that has been messed with.

Key on engine off... what are all the scanmaster numbers.... check for any loose vacuum lines, and unplug the MAF and try to start it.

I had this years ago, in my case it was my EGR being loose. The same thing would happen with the other suggestions of an IC pipe or Maf pipe so do a boost leak test if you have access to one.

finnally made it over today and was looking around at it again and found a chunk of the throttle body to plem gasket and could see light right threw it so im assuming that thats my problem.
