car i want to buy

They guy i might be possibly buying said that when you get on this car hard and the rpms get up there he said you kind of feel the car start to cut out a little. Does anyone know what this could mean? The car also has a little uneaven spot when the pillar dividing the door and rear windows is. I was told this is something to look at because it is cause by the car torquing. Just wanted to know how to judge that. Any imput and advice is appreciated. Thanks, Dustin
