I'm watching Animal House and was wondering what kind of car Flounder's brother had. It looks cool as hell with the suicide doors.

Does anyone know the year? I don't know Continental years either, though the movie is set in 1962. I have watched this movie dozens of times since it came out and just noticed the other day that a mid 70's GM (Malibu I think) sitting in a parking lot in the parade mayhem scene, oops! probably others in there too.

I think it's a 61 Continental. I think Lincoln was the only company in recent history to offer suicide doors, fwiw

Yes it is a Lincoln but unsure of the year as well.....Almost bought one that needed a rear door when I was like 14.

Ford did put out some T-Birds that had Suicide rear doors as well.
