My favorite is the cutouts, all you need is the cutout, and 2 band clamps and it'll splice right in with a little sawzalling. And you can slap it closed real easy.

As far as downside i beleive in N/A you'll loose power without some back pressure (low end torque?)

another thing, what is with these buicks and cold air? Everynight I get off work and its cool out and the engine gets to op temp it turns into a completely different animal. Throttle respnse oand lowend torque are way more apparent. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. You carbed turbo guys gotta love the cool weather. I myself can't remember that far back what it was like but I'm sure it was good

My buddy's 3800 is the same way, It runs like a beast at night. IT's almost like having an Intercooler.
