i have an 87 gn and i belive the valve springs are about shot becuz it floats the vlaves at about 3,500 rpms. at least i think its floatin the valves. is this normal. if so what valve springs are recommend.the motor is stock but i want to do some bolt-ons to it. but you all know how a few bolt-ons leads on to more. thanks

Could be a few things!!! My car did that and it was a BRAND NEW ignition module from Auto Zone! I took it back and got another one and it HEAT SOAKED! Wells was the name on it, and its the last aftermarket electrical product I'll ever buy for my GN! I know others who have other brands on theirs and their fine BUT, just telling you my experience. GET GM ONLY ELECTRONICS!!!!!!!!
