I have done some tunning on my car with an otc 4000, I set the IAC and TPS and I know I am running Rich at WOT .900 - .950 and lean at idle, Im working on getting a walbro and adj regulator.
My problem is when the car is cold and the air is cooler I can get as much as 16 for boost and it holds steady thru the gears but once the car has run for a while the boost will jump up to 15 - 16 and then drop right off to 10. The OTC 4000 is not sensing any knock signal or Knock retard.
MY other question is, my neighbor gave me an 87 ECM today and I read some where that instead of using a MAT sensor someone wired in a 2200 ohm resistor to pin 11 and it thinks its 70 Deg all the time does this work and is it a good or bad idea?
