car show 159th & Harlem

Pretty good , last night I went to a car show 150 cars there I had the only turbo buick there ( where was everyone?) and when I was getting ready to go a guy walked up to my car and said beautiful car man , I would take your car over any car here, I was like thanks man anyway that made my day.

Is this a weekly show? What are the times? I'm on the northside but wouldn't mind driving down once or twice this summer.

You must be talking about the Friday cruise night in the K-mart parking lot. I was wondering which week this was going to start. If I can get my car fixed this week (waiting on some parts) I'll have to check out the scene next Friday.

It's by the Applebee's yeah I think it's every Friday , quite a few TB are going up there next Friday.I got there at 5:30 and there were a tonof cars already so the later you get there the harder it is to find a spot. It would be cool to have a line of TB there together.

Hey John, after you left last night I went for a ride and ran into some guys in a tubbed out ss454 truck. I saw it earlier in the day but did not have the GN.
Now it was on! We cruised next to each other for a ways slowing down to let traffic get up ahead. Once I saw the opportunity I pull the shifter down to 3rd. No sooner I did and he nailed it. That truck sounded like a top fuel dragster.
I mashed the gas, hit 26 psi and reeled him in. I got right up next to him and he lets off. I'm sure he thinks he won and thats cool cause next time maybe we can place a small wager.

You're right Rick, next Friday they are going think it's a Turbo Buick show. Rest of you guys check the Midwest section - Double Header cruise 6/12.

PS. Next time that big battleship is not going to know what missile hit him. I know who I'll bet on.

Yeah the fun with there cars can't be replaced , I ate a mustang on my way home not much to talk about as I pulled on him like 25 cars hehe, we had some good cool air last night 10 bucks sayid you see that 454 ss truck he won't play he knows better now
