I like to open and leave open my doors at car shows. With the T-Tops removed my car shows well. I remove the battery terminal to save it. My question is "is there another way to keep the lights off? Other then remove the lamps.

pull the ctsy fuse, you could also wire a switch with inline fuse in place of the fuse

Pop the dome light fuse. You'll most likely lose your radio presets and clock though.

If it's something you do often, get a couple 1/4" spade connectors, some wire, a switch and an external fuse holder. Then you can toggle a kill switch.

Keep the doors closed
Helps the doors from sagging
And less chance of some asshole
Sitting in your car when your not watching.

Pull the dome light and lower courtesy light bulbs out.

I've done a lot of professional car shows and leaving the doors open or access to the interior is discouraged.

That'll reset clocks, presets and ECMs too. If the showcar is a driver (or a runner) that might get kind of old.

If it's a trailer queen, probably won't matter.
