Help I am lost. I have a 87 WE4 with ported heads, ported intake, forged pistons and a 218/218 cam. I also have 57 lbs injectors with a moded ecm. The turbo is a PT61 with a stretch stock location intercooler. I went to the track on regular street tires and left with 0 lbs of bust and went through the traps at 26 lbs of bust. The car pulled extremly hard and ran a 7.51 at 93 mph in the 1/8 with a 1.91 sixty foot. The next week I put a set of 26 11.5 ET street on the car and lunched with 12 lbs of boost and the car left hard and shut off. Then it would not start. I found the problem it was the small orange or red wire that comes from the battery and goes to the computer I believe. I plugged it back up and the car started fine and ideled fine but when I staged the car again it boosted to 12 lbs of bust and I left again but this time the left and fell on its face, black smoked, and stumbled once I eased of the gas the car would clear up. If I drive the car and gradualy give it gas it runs fine, but under hard accelaration it stumbles and gradualy starts to run. I did not have any of these problems until the small wire cam unpluged from the battery. Can some one tell me what could be wrong I am very ancious to see what my car will run with the slicks on it. I am shooting for some 6.80's or 90's in the 1/8. Any help please.

Are you sure the orange wire has good connection,Coming unplugged by itself seems like a good place to look first.Always a good idea to have a spare ecm.May want to check that chip is seated good.Try these areas first and report back.
