Car Theft

What would you guess is the most the common way your car is taken?

Driven away...
Towed away....
Trailered away...
Other????

From my experience it would be driven away when people leave their car running either to warm up or when they run into the convenience store. Probably 60-70 percent of the motor vehicle thefts I handle as a cop are because of this. We also get alot of auto thefts where somebody met another person at the bar brought them home and when they got up the next morning the car and the new boyfriend were both gone.
