Hi guys and gals i think i f-up bad i wanted to change my tendioner that was cracked while doing that i had the brilliant idea of degreasing the engine bay with engine cleaner degreaser! So i aplied the degreaser waited 10 min like said in the instructions and covered alternator and filter then hosed everything dowm looks great so i put everything back toghether and start up the car now she runs like crap as soon as you start it up the idle goes up and down for like 10 sec then it stays steady at 800 rpm and when i try to give it gas ot hesitate tgen goes and when i drive it it take everything to get her going and it hardly builds any boost

I know i know i am a dumbass for washing engine bay the car was running fine just before!

Any ideas?

Go to a Yamaha shop and get a can of Yamaha Silicone Spray. Unplug every electrical connection, hit it with compressed air then spray it with the silicone spray. That should take care of you for about 5 or 10 years.

Oh, and when you say 'hosed everything down' was that with a pressure washer perhaps? If you still have a stock MAF, that might have been it's death bath.

No pressure washer just regular hose but yes got water on it and it does not go over 5 psi and jerks all the way there and ot feels like it has no power at all!
