I HAVE 1983 T-TYPE WHITH THE TURBO, AND A QUADRAJET AND THE SECONDARY'S DONT SEEM TO WANT TO OPEN, THE VACUME GIZMO THAT HOLDS THEM SHUT ONLY LETS THEM OPEN ABOUT 1/4 OF A INCH DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVISE. ALSO WHICH WAY IS THE WAIST GATE SUPOSE TO BE TWORD THE CARBRUATER OR AWAY FROM IT, IT'S PULLED ALL THE WAY TWORD THE CARB. RIGHT NOW

Check out B4Blacks web site that should help about the wastegate adj.

The secoundaries will not open cold, engine HAS to be warm to check it.
Is it binding, is the lock out tab shut(it's a small tab under the choke that stops the secondaries from opening when it's cold.
