Carlisle PA from NYC

Thinking about going to the GM Nationals. How far is Carlisle from NYC?? (time & distance) I heard that it's a haul .

Best reference I can give went from Carlisle to Worcester Ma and it was about a 6 hour haul best I can remember. Mapquest would be the place to check, but I would strongly consider going. Usually attend the Chrysler show there in July and have a pretty good time. The Carlisle fairgrounds are clean, plenty of vendor space, good food vendors, and very good security. Plus Hershey is about a 20 minute drive, check out the gardens and the factory tour...
