The car doens't do it all the time, but it has happenned a couple times. I try and leave the light by giving it like half or more throttle and it bogs down and sometimes even shuts off. Most of the time it runs fine, but it seems like it is getting to much fuel or something. The car idles at about 700, not sure if that is normal or what. Any ideas?
thanks

I am not really sure what I am looking for on the scan tool, so I can't really answer that. The car will start up right after it dies no problem. What should I be looking for when it does this?
Thanks

what kind of fuel pump do you have in the car? if it's stock get a new aftermarket one because the stock pump will cut out fuel even for a stock setup at wide open throttle...

Do you have any mods? Are you running the stock MAF? When cold, like in the morning does it start and idle okay?

What are the O2 readings on the scantool, it is the first display?

Mods are: PTE-44 Turbo, V4 intercooler, headers,THDP, 42.5inj., adj. FP, Walbro 340 fuel pump, dual stage alchy, solid MAF pipe, and some other stuff. The car starts up fine in the morning, the idle runs at about 1200 for a minute then it drops down to about 750 when warm. The 02's seem to be okay, WOT is about 830.

Is the alky kit turned on or off when it acts up? Is your MAF in good shape? What is the fuel pressure when it acts up? Are your intercooler pipes tight and in good shape?
You'll have to check everything over very close then if you can't find anything wrong get a fuelpressure gauge hooked up and watch it and your scan tool when it decides to act up.
The more info you can give us the more specific we can get on where to look.

I am not sure how the MAF is. It is the stock one so it may be causing some of the problem. I planed on ordering the LS1 3.5" MAF with T+ some time next week. So maybe that will help. The FP is at about 42lbs when it died. I will be checking all of the piping when I get off the computer. What exactly is the IAC and BLM? Race chip is in the car now, 26 degree timing with 110 oct.
thanks

Yeah, you didn't say what chip you're running with those 009 injectors. The 009s are notorious for an off idle stumble or stall (sometimes referred to as a "tip in") problem when you nail it hard from idle. I solved my tip in problem...for the most part...with a new TPS sensor and a recently made Jay Carter chip.

stickybone: That is the exact problem I am having. Where can I get a new TPS sensor? I will probably be getting a new chip sometime this winter since i will be modifying my car more.
Thanks

I got mine from Kirbans I think if I remember correctly. Any of the TR vendors should have them. First try what striker_29 suggested by checking the voltage readings first. I also tried resetting my IAC too. When this failed, I bought the new TPS figuring the old one was getting lazy. The problem initially went away with the new sensor, but it's back a little bit now. May have something to do with my old IAC and/or the extremely hot weather we've been having here lately. I need to do some more "tuning" to get rid of the tip in entirely.
Good luck.
