Caspers knock alarm question

The other day I started my car and the alarm kept going off until I shut the engine off .
When I restarted it everything was normal .
It has in the past given a short tone on start up but just a short beep .
is this anything to be concerned about?

Do you have caspers volt booster?

No I do not have a volt booster.

Mine has done it also but I have no idea why it does it. It's like a voltage spike sets it off and the only way to turn the alarm off is to turn the key off and restart the car.

No problem with mine, knock on wood... I'd check the wiring into the ECM lead, then I ran a ground and ran the power to the IGN3 port on the fuseblock. Just picked up a digital timer to delay the power to the thing to avoid the loud beep on start up.

No problem with mine, knock on wood... I'd check the wiring into the ECM lead, then I ran a ground and ran the power to the IGN3 port on the fuseblock. Just picked up a digital timer to delay the power to the thing to avoid the loud beep on start up.

Where did you pick up the digital timer delay? Do you have a source/part number you could share?
