Casper's Knock Gauge

When I start my car up the 2nd amber light comes on and stays on, unless I turn on the power until the center green light comes on and then start my car. Is this normal at all? It also never shows any knock whatsoever which I guess is a good thing but I find hard to beleive. Anybody have any answers?

I dont undersatand your question?, so whats happening is when you turn the car on the knock guage is not resetting itself?, if this is the case, you need to put in a switch to reset it manually, alot of these do it, and i believe caspers is now recommending that all of the guages be setup this way. Also make sure you solder the connection to the ECM, a bad connection will cause bad readings and sometimes the guage wont work at all.

sounds like a ground problem, try changing ground location.

A switch seems to be the problem. my ground should be fine but I'll check that too. Thanks guys
