Casting 25506397

This casting appears to be a RWD 1983 3.8L from a Riviera according to gnttype.org

It is a "turbo" block and still has the turbo attached with heads and such.

Are these significantly different from say the 84-85, 86-87 3.8's that were in Regals? It is local to me and cheap. There isn't much info on gnttype about it other than this...

Should be just a plain ole 14 bolt older 3.8. Nothing special.

Sorry to revive the post but I wanted to ask are these blocks any good ? What mods do you recommend ?

Higher deck height and no better or worse than the other 14 bolt oil pan blocks.

It's case by case on the individual block. The only way to know is to inspect it.
