cc 212 back ordered other options

okay this is on my buddy's car we got the 212/212 and wiped it tried to get another through the same vendor but the thing is backordered from comp, we have called both of them many times checking if they are anywhere near to being available. This is getting really old so we are looking at alternatives. there are a couple 208/208 cams (isky and joesperformance I believe) and I think there is a 210/210 as well as a 210/205. he was really set on the 212 as his combo now is 44 blue tops ported head trw's front mount but was looking at going up to a 45 and 50's pretty soon so he wants the bigger cam. I have done most of my reasearch based on the 206 and 212 and since we want to order a cam sometime soon what else would you suggest.


Or by chance is someone hording a 212 out there somewhere?

Did you try Cottons or PTE? I'd be suprised if they were out. Anyway, I had a 208/208 from ramchargers, and it rocked, till I wiped it. My fault for improper break in, though. I now have a 210/210, but its a roller, but it runs nicely. I would go to the 208 if I had to do a flat tappet.
