CD Changer Blues

Hey all, I have a Pioneer CDX-FM1237S but the remote stopped controling the display unit. i replaced the battery, but no luck. does anyone know where i can locate just the display unit (i think the I/R sensor went bad

I would try to check the battery connections on the remote and if that don't work try to reset the controller
