Do not buy any race gas from Boyd Automotive unless you are prepared to thoroughly filter it before puttting in the tank. I bought 5 gals of Phillips B33 from them and mixed it with 3 gals of 112 I had left over from 3 weeks ago. I barely made it to the track with the car sputtering badly when trying to accelerate. At the track it would not rev pass 1500 with the fuel pressure plummeting. I pulled the pump (external) and its filter was completely clogged with some fairly solid crud and there was sand in the fuel filter.
The car now runs like sh!t and I am going to have to drop the fuel cell and flush the entire system and hope I did not do any damage. With the crud the filters picked up I wonder how old that gas is?
