Ceramic coating a THDP

well i got my dp from Ramchargers(and the K&N, thanks Dave) and i'm considering getting it coated to match my headers. has anybody else done this to a THDP? my concern is any problems happening with the puck and where it hinges through the flange-will the coating stop the puck assmbly from moving freely? could it be masked off along with the entire flange to play it safe? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I had my mild steel THDP done w/ 2000 silver and I think they masked just the puck and its been fine. Can't remember on the flange can tell you later on when I switch turbos if I remember when I get around to it.
