Champion Alum. heads what valve springs are used for a hydraulic

Looking to know what part # springs are used on the Champion GN1 Alum. heads for a Hydraulic Roller cam ?? Can I use the K-motion 750's or the Beehive 26918's?? Which work best?

You will need to measure the installed height. The GN1's are supposed to be 1.75, but mine measured 1.725, which I heard earlier castings were. The K-motion 750's will work with the stock retainers, the Comp beehives require new retainers. The Comps have a 1.80 installed height, so at 1.75 or 1.725, you will raise seat pressure, and might run into coil bind issues. The k-motion have a 1.75 installed height, and should be good to .600. According to Weber, the Comps don't have enough open pressure. I would go with the k-motion.

The beehives have always worked great. The new 26918s go to .625 lift now and Champion recommends those over anything else on an off the shelf hyd roller. Tom will set you up with what you need if you want the beehives.
