Just got an email breaking down the cost for GN1 heads and porting cost. Just wanted to pass it along!

Robert

The GN1 Heads complete are $1695.00
Full Port Labor on the Heads is $650.00
Hydr. Roller Spring Upgrade is about $62.00

Is the 224/224 Cam a solid roller or hydr. roller? If it a solid roller the spring upgrade will cost a little more.

Thanks
Tom

I thought they already came set up for a hyd roller cam .

Yes I did too. I dont understand why it would cost more $$$$ for the heads to be setup if you are running hyd vs soilds or vice versa.

Different springs and/or locks & retainers probably.

thought they were already ported cnced? how they flow compared to cast irons?

Yes, they do come set up for a hydraulic roller cam. The springs that come with them should be good for about 6,000 RPM's. It appears as though Tom was asking him if he had a solid or hydraulic roller cam.

Those heads should flow at .500 lift a shade over 250 @ 28” on the intake side and around 200 on the exhaust side. The numbers stay nearly the same @ .600 lift.
