A simple return call does do a lot for customer service. Even if they have to tell you they haven't touched them yet....at least that's keeping you in the loop. May not be what you are wanting hear....but still would be nice to know something imo.
Tom has always returned my calls and taken care of my issues. But I can understand the frustration associated with long lead times. One thing is clear though, Tom has been making these heads for us for a very long time and continuously improving them along the way. He's not another Mease or part-time fabricator. His commitment to our group is quite clear based on his extensive history.
I'm waiting patiently for his new block to be released and hope the quality compliments the heads.
i have champion irons. i had a question and called, she said he was out to lunch, be back in half hour, i left my number no call back, called 2 hours later and he was on other line, ill have him call you back as soon as he gets off the phone, still waiting been 2 weeks just common courtesy and how you keep customersI am not knocking his product in no way. Picked the car up 2 tenths over the m&a's we had. The head's are cracked and just need repaired alot of places can do this.
I have a machine shop ready to fix them as soon as I get them back. I'm not trying to be an azz with this but I am running out of time fast.
Tom also has taken care of problems in the past for me never any issues. I guess it has to do with the way you talk to people and carry yourself on how others treat you.

I have let one of his vendors handle it till this week so I guess your wrong. Maybe it how my vendor talk's and carry's his self.

I can understand peoples frustration but there are two games in town. Champion and TA.
Considering Champion heads are considerably cheaper then TA's and apparently efficient enough to be run on the fastest TSM car in the history of the world Id say people are waiting extended periods of time for a reason. That reason being price and proven quality.
A return phone call is not a lot to ask for and I guess there is no excuse for that but if people wanted they could always buy a set from TA. Not many do and for a reason.
If you want a motor build from RPE or DLS which are two of the most popular proven top notch engine builders out there ur gonna wait several months as well and there are numerous engine builders out there to choose from.
A returned phone call or part is not a lot to ask for tho. I agree.
