Long Extension and a Spark Plug Socket with a Universal Swivel on it. :p

I just use a standard 5/8" deep well w/ a universal head and long extension. Never had a problem using that method.

I hate the spark plug sockets  That rubber boot inside tends to complicate things IMO.

Good luck to ya.

Damn, WUTSAV8. Guess you and I were typing at the same time. ;)

I have about 3 different extentions and a swivel. Takes about 20 minutes to change them, including gapping and stopping for a slurp off da beer.

Try a speedwrench with a universal swivel, cuts the time from 20 mins. to 5.

Nothin' like a swivel and a long extension to cure just about any tight squeeze.

Getting it out is the easy part. Long extension and scoket. Getting it back in was the hard part for me a friend stopped by when i was in the process of swetting and fussin trying to get it back in, He told me to get a long piece of gas line and put the plug in the end of it and use the hose to guide while turning it. Five seconds i was done.:)

At sears they sell the sparkplug socket with a built in swivel, which makes the socket more compact and manueverable for 10$.

The hardest part for me is trying to pull the sprark plug wire boot off that plug. I gues i need to buy a better and longer boot puller that may have to be offset. I always put die electric grease too. (don't know if that makes the boots stick from heat)
