So far, I'm aware of two chat rooms that are for BuickTR owners. All that is required for each is a 'client' program to chat with.
#buickGN on IRC is the oldest chat room. All you need is a program like mIRC and set the server to the current server information and you're ready to chat. Activity depends somewhat on time of day. Often times you can go in the room and there are several people there, but nobody talking. THis is usually due to lurkers (like me) that leave their chat online 24hrs/day. Some are chatting from work, so obviously they can't talk all the time. I find that most activity is in the evening hours, usually after dinner time.

There is also a new chat that is up and coming, although doesn't have many active members yet. This is TeamSpeak2. This program is a program for actually talking in a room with other TR members. For this, you will need a microphone and speakers. A cheap microphone can be had for $10. I even used an old set of headphones, plugged it into the microphone jack and got it to work that way (talk into the headphones).
