cheap downloads for your cell phone...

Hey all,

I came upon this awhile back through a friend and would like to share the site with you:

They have all kinds of ringers, screensavers, games and downloads on there. You can even upload anything from your hard drive to the site and then DL it to your phone...

At first I did not set up an account and it was a real pain going through my locker with like 200+ ringers and stuff in it... I used to just click something to send it to my locker and then hit the back button and never pay anything. Now they have it set up where you can only DL like one thing and then you have to pay... it's only 6 bucks for a year of unlimited DL's - way cheap compared to 2-5 bucks through the phone co.

I think that's the one that doesn't work for Verizon....

For pretty much any phone you can go to www.matrixm.com Pretty much all of the ringers and images are .99 or less and they also have games and loads of other stuff. I think they even have an application to watch television on your phone for $9.95 a month. Not sure how well that would work, I am thinking about trying it out just for the hell of it.

3G does not work for Nextel, Alltel, or Verizon... those companies do not allow 3rd party downloads (they want thier cut for downloading).

But Sprint does

I think the best thing about 3G is that you can get unlimited amount of Downloads for the one time price... when you are paying a buck or two a piece that adds up quick.

I have like 40 ringers and 20 sceen savers on my phone... I love it!
