Where is the cheapest place/vendor to get the rear seat brace kit?
Also how about the front frame braces?
Also the body to frame bushings?

And finally where has anyone found a cheaper place to get Bilstein shocks for the GN than the $205 at Shox.com?

Thanks

The "cheapest place" I know of is your local you-pull-it yard.

For rear seat braces use underhood braces found on a full-size Cadillac from 1977-84. The pair of rods going from the spring tower to the core support work fine. You need to get these from 2 cars for a total of 4 rods. One end needs trimmed and a hole drilled at install.

Front frame braces are found on Olds and Pontiac intermediates. Not all have them, best bet is late 70's, early 80's.

$30 or so in the parts for sale section for the front braces. Painted up and work fine. Delivered too.

Rear braces can be made from real electrical conduit or perhaps EMT in 3/4" size. Not sure about the 1/2" strenth.

Or Kirban has them.

Those shock prices are decent actually good. :)

Kirbans crossbrace for the front is also a very good idea.

Thanks for the replies,

I know it would be best to go to a bone yard and get the braces, but, i don't have the time or the tools.

Do you know if one vendor sells the stuff cheaper than the rest?

Thanks

205.00 is the best deal that I could find. I looked everywhere for these shocks. If there is a better deal on these it would be stealing.
