Decided to check the fluid (while hot in park) since I had ther engine out. It seem I could not properly see the level on the dipstick. It covered the botton curled portion but it was also further up on the side but with a dry portion in between.
Could not really tell what level I was that. I hope I did not overfill.
Does anyone else see this type of proble? Can the fluid show up higher on the dipstick from rubbing on the side of the tube?

I know this was probably a lame question but I always know this board to come thru.
What do others find when reading fluid level on dipstick? Do you find any fluid up high on the stick from when it is removed? Please

always read the lower reading

on the stick. it won't kill you on the 200-4r to run them 1qt over full. Sometimes fluid can sit in the bends of the dipstick tube after adding fluid and throw the stick reading off, but it will run to the pan eventually.
